Since the risk of gums becoming infected is still high even after treatment, we take extra steps to ensure the infection does not return. Your treatment plan may require you to come in for cleanings three to four times a year instead of once every six months. This way, we can monitor the health of your gums closely and provide the deeper cleaning you need to keep your gums healthy.
